New and fun — available to order in the shop!

Just a quick post to let you know about some changes I have made for 2009!  I have updated the navigation on my website to make it a little more streamlined — instead of a “Gallery” link,  there is a link called “Paperie”. Clicking this will take you right to my Etsy store where it is easier to view each invite, look over pricing and purchase deposits. Oh, and the homepage has been freshened up a little. Thanks Jeff!

There have also been some changes made to my Shop Policies, which you can read in detail here. Some of these changes include:

REQUESTING SAMPLES:
If there is an invitation or announcement you would like to see in person, please purchase one of the Sample Request listings in our store:
• Save the Dates - ($4.50 plus shipping)
• Invitations - ($12 plus shipping)
Due to the custom-nature of our work, samples are available in limited numbers.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS:
• Get a 5% discount when ordering 100 or more invites
• Order your save the dates with us and get 5% off your wedding invitation order
There is a $50 minimum for all custom orders.

DESIGN FEE:
Most orders will require a design/customization fee of $45, $30 or $25 and will be added to your final invoice unless a prior design agreement has been made. (This fee helps cover any stock photo purchase, custom illustration or monogram/logo. There is no design fee for simple color changes and/or wording changes.) You WILL NOT be charged if your design is very similar to one listed in our store — contact us for more info.

PRINTING AND PRODUCTION:
Once you have approved your final design, it will take approximately 4-6 weeks to assemble your order. However, we highly recommend ordering at least 8-12 weeks prior to the mailing date to allow ample time for the design, production and assembly of your order. 2009 is filling up fast, so please order in advance! An extra fee may apply for rush orders.

RETURN ADDRESS PRINTING AND LABELS:
Depending on the size/paper type of your envelope, we do offer the following options:
Direct Printing on Envelopes:
• One color - $0.40 per envelope
• Two (or more) colors - $0.50 per envelope
Envelope Labels:
• $25 for 100 (small return address label)
• $35 for 100 (large return address label) has room to write your guests address by hand
• $55 for 100 (large return address label) has each guests address pre-printed
**All of our address labels are custom designed to reflect your invitation’s theme/colors, and are far from ordinary!**

Over the next few weeks I will be adding more specific information (sizes, color options, postage costs, etc.) to each invite’s listing. This will be gradual, but I hope to have it completed by March!

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to work with Amy from Stem Parties on the Kotys/Thompson wedding — check out the article featured in this month’s issue of Alive STL, Bridal Edition! The cake, the dress, the ballroom, it was all breathtaking. And how beautiful is that photo of the bride and groom?! Andrea was super sweet and amazing to work with, and Amy made everything seem effortless.
